Hi, I’m Kino.

Is your teen having a hard time fitting in, struggling with anxiety, or having difficulty focusing on “important” stuff?

I get it. I’ve grappled with all of these in my teenage years, well into my 20s. Now, I have the spirit of a rebellious teen with the experience of a 30-year-old army veteran with a master’s degree.

The teens I work with appreciate having an adult to talk to who gets them, validates them, and gently calls them out when necessary. We build trust through genuine connection and leverage this trust for meaningful reflection, introspection, and growth.

The parents I work with appreciate having someone they can collaborate with, rely on, and trust to help guide their teens through adolescence with their best interests at heart. Open communication and transparency are important to me.

Therapy works best when evidence-based theories meet the soul. The work that we do is influenced by an alchemy of degrees in psychology and social work, experiences in the US Army working to improve service members' mental health, and a deep desire to help others better understand themselves.

If you want to learn more about working together, I invite you to set up a free consultation with me.

When you are born a lotus flower, be a beautiful lotus flower, don’t try to be a magnolia flower. If you crave acceptance and recognition and try to change yourself to fit what other people want you to be, you will suffer all your life. True happiness and true power lie in understanding yourself, accepting yourself, having confidence in yourself.
