Hi, I’m Charmecia 

I love helping teenagers connect with their inner magic.

I’m a teacher’s kid which taught me an unyielding respect and admiration for young people. My goofiness and creativity make my therapy office a fun and growth-fostering space. My specializations include, healing from trauma, breaking up with diet culture and reclaiming your body, exploring family of origin issues, managing stress, fostering healthy relationships, and identity development (especially as it relates to culture). In my approach, I value mutual growth and authenticity.

I chose a career in therapy because it gave me an opportunity to utilize science in a truly uncharted territory. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from Baylor University before moving on to Texas Woman’s University to obtain a Masters in Counseling Psychology. I’ve been practicing for 6 years. Previously I’ve worked with youth in foster care, university students, and youth experiencing crisis. I relish the opportunity to grow with and learn from others each day.

To honor the investment and process, a complimentary 30 minute consult is offered to help determine goodness-of-fit. Schedule a free consult today!

Insurance is not accepted at this time. Superbills can be provided to be filed independently.

Payment is accepted in the form of: credit cards or Health Savings Account cards.
